Both sets include the 80+ page Guidebook which comes in a full size 81/2"X11" 3-ring binder so that you can remove the pages for easy tracing. Both kits have all the supplies you need to get started the day your Kit arrives. This will save you time and will take the guesswork out of purchasing the supplies you need to learn calligraphy. The guidebook teaches and illustrates the three principles of calligraphy so that children as young as ten years old can understand the concepts.

The Guidebook technique of 'learning by tracing' has been proven to be the easiest and most enjoyable way of learning calligraphy. It trains your hand to hold the pen or marker at the angle necessary to form the thin and thick lines characteristic of calligraphy. Tracing the letters will train your hand to hold the pen or marker correctly. After practicing the tacings, you will draw the letters using the help of the grids provided for you in the back of the guidebook. This system makes practice easy and learning fun.
